Bahia is the main tourism destination of the Northeast and one of the main gateways to international tourism in the country.

As if the charms for the eyes were not enough, the state is also a place of a peculiar gastronomy and a religious diversity that goes from the catholicism to the candomblé. In Salvador alone there are about 400 Catholic churches.
